2018, the last year of Heisei

The following are the record of the autumn leaves in 2018. I’m sure they show you the way the autumn leaves in Kyoto goes on.
4th November
Shinnyodo temple
Now we can admire so-called autumn leaves. Around 30 percent. In the next week, we’ll see green and vermilion leaves at the same time. I suppose this year’s gonna be fruitful.
11th November
Tenjuan temple
Now Karesansui/Zen garden is in Migoro. The leaves are in extraordinary red.
The stroll gareden is around 40 percent. Anyway, the Karesansui garden is in the best time.
Shinnyodo temple
Around the pagoda, we can see more red leaves than last week.
Takao
Now they are in Migoro. To our regret, some leaves start to fall before they turn into red or vermilion.
Jingoji temple
The tree in the left side is in amazing red. I hope it has the same color by the other trees has the same color.
Some trees are in full bloom.
Saimyoji temple
It is the perfect timing! You must be there in a couple of days. The leaves of Saimyoji are in bloom earlier than those of the other places in Takao.
Kozanji temple
Kozanji has lots of green leaves yet. Most of them shrank though they are in green.
15th November
The night illumination of 2018 starts today. The Karesansui garden still keeps red leaves in good condition.
17th November Ohara
Sanzenin temple
We have Migoro in Shinden building though some place are in early stage.
Jikkoin temple
We can admire Sakura and autumn leaves at the same time. The Sakura in Jikkoin is not the same kind of Sakura we can see in Spring. It blooms in autumn and sping. It is called “Fudan Zakura” (Sakura without cease) because it blooms two times in a year.
Jyakkoin temple
Now in the best Migoro. Stunning.
Rengeji temple
This is one of the most underrated place to admire autumn leaves with quiet pond and fallen ginkgo leaves. Just 10 minutes walk from Rurikoin temple.
