Kuronushi yama 黒主山
Kuronushi yama has a figurine of Otomo no Kuronushi as a Goshintai. He is a famous poet in Heian period.
Kuruonushi yama has extraordinary carpets. They decorates of a body of it.
Kuronushiyama has lots of paper-made Sakura flowers because it shows us the scene in which Kuronushi composes a poem under Sakura trees.
We have Chimake amulets in Gion matsuri and some Yamaboko offer us Chimaki to eat. Kuronushi yama sells it.
En no Gyojya yama 役行者山
En no Gyojya yama has many carpets made under the influence of ancient China.
The peculiar thing is it has a map indicates Yamaboko of around 15~17th century. Before Oni no Ran, the largest civil war devasted Kyoto and the rest of Japan, many Za offered Yamaboko floats. Za is a kind of guild in Japan. Yasaka shrine was in charge of them.
They are Goshin tai. Form left to right, Hitokotonushi no Kami, En no Gyojya, and Katsuragi no Kami. En no Gyojya asked to Hitokotonushi to build a bridge between Mt. Taihosan and Mt. Katsuragisan to save people who suffered.
In Kaisyo, there is a stone called Koshikake Ishi. With one touch of it, it relieved us from stiff shoulders.
It has a Chinowa at the entrance.
