They are the ways to avoid busy routes.
In this post, numbers mean the No.s of Kyoto city bus.
To Kiyomizudera temple
- JR Nara Line to Tofukuji sta.
- At JR Tofukuji sta., change to Keihan line to Kiyomizu Gojo sta.
- From Kiyomizu Gojo sta. go to Kiyomizudera by way of Gojozaka and Chawanzaka.
Not City Bus 86 or 206.

Fushimi Inari Taisha
- JR Nara Line to Tofukuji sta.
- At JR Tofukuji sta., change to Keihan line to Fushimi Inari sta.
Not City Bus.
To Arahisyama
JR Sagano line to Saga Arashiyama sta.
Not City Bus or Kyoto Bus.

To Kinkakuji
- Subway Karasuma line to Kitaoji sta.
- Form Kitaoji bus terminal, take 204, or 205 at BLUE bus stops to Kinkakuji Michi bus stop.

Kitaoji bus terminal has Red and Blue bus stops! Take 204 and 205 at Blue bus stops, not Red bus stops.

To Ryoanji
At JR bus stop no.3 to Ryoanji mae bus stop.
To Ninnaji
At JR bus stop no.3 to Omuro Ninnnaji mae bus stop.
To Ginkakuji
17 to Ginkakuji Michi bus stop.

Subway Karasuma line to Karasuma Oike sta. Change to Tozai line to Nijojo Mae sta.

There are more tourists than May. Kiyomizu dera, Kinkakuji, Ryoanji, and Fushimi Inari are crowded. Take advantage of JR BUS and TRAINS.
Since Sakura season, Nishioji, Higashi Oji, and Shijo streets are in traffic jams. Due to this, buses might not be on time.

100s are lines for tourists. Without them, people take 206 to Kiyomizudera and take 100 and 5 to Ginkakuji and Heian Jingu.
And 5 and 206 are so crowded. DO NOT TAKE THEM!
