Gozendani Houhai Jyo 御膳谷奉拝所
Before Gozendani Houhai Jyo, there is a store where small toriis, Goshuin Stamps, and some souvenirs are available.
We have one of the two rest rooms here.
This is the last one.
Komainu of the Gozendani Houhai jyo has her baby in the breast.
From ancient times, people served for the food for Deities. Even today, priests do the same thing.
There are lots of Otsukas. So mysterious.
Yakuriki sha 薬力社
“Yakuriki” means “Power of medicine”. We pray for our good health. We find lots of paper cranes people donated.
We can have boiled egg with Japanese tea here.
Mitsurugi Sha 御剱社
There is a huge rock behind a shrine. It is a rock called Tsurugi Ishi to which the deity descend. We can touch it to get Goriyaku, the fortune the deity gives to us.
Next to Mitsurugi Sha, there is a well. It is believed Sanjyo Munechika, the prominent sword smith, cooled a sword with the water of this well.
Near Mitsuruti Sha, we can find a Komainu with her baby.
We climb up the stairs to head for Ichi no Mine
