2020
January 2, 2020
謹んで新年をお慶び申し上げます。Happy new year.
Now the most of all the shading sheet was removed and we can see the roof.
The renovation of the Hiwadabuki roof was finished. I suppose the cage will be removed by the Sakura season in late March.
Jan. 10th
The removal of the scaffolds started. The “stage” to store the parts of scaffolds is prepared in front of the stage.
From Jishu shrine, we have a good view of the brand-new roof.
Jan. 19th
The roof of the cage was removed. Now we can see the iconic Kiyomizudera hall for the first time in nearly 3 years!
こうして三年の月日を経て、再び見ることができ、ヤギ撮影隊も感無量です。I’m so happy to see the stage again, 合掌
I’m sure the scaffolds will be removed completely before Sakura season 2020!
February
1st
We have a full view of the stage. The place we can visit on the stage is still restricted.
Nearly ending.
February, 9th
Today, we have snow. most of the scaffolds of the both sides were removed.
Enjoy Kiyoto in snow. (2022) Kiyomizudera starts around 5:47.
Feb. 16th
On Feb.16, the removal of the scaffold is still going on. The left side of the main hall appears. We can see a Torii of Jishu shrine. An elderly lady said to me, “We have a good view again!”
On the stage, nothing sores our view.
Bussokuseki for the 1st time in 3 years.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! On Feb. 23rd, the renovation of the roof completed
CONGRATULATIONS!!! On Feb. 23, the removal of the scaffolds was completed. We can admire the same view as we did 3 long years ago!!! 合掌
In August, the renovation of the floor will start.
April, Sakura season 2020
