#6 Shisendo 詩仙堂
Overview
Shisendo used be a villa of Ishikawa Jozan, the advisor of Tokugawa Iyeyasu. It is located in foot of a mountain and calm place with beautiful flowres in a simple garden.
The garden 唐様庭園
The garden in Shisendo is in Karayo-style. It looks like Zen garden. Around it, we enjoy maple leaves in vivid vermilion, red, and yellow.
Most of all, the yellow leaves are so vivid and clear.
