Overview
Zuihin-in is a small Monzeki temple (Buddhist temple for descendants of the Imperial family) located suburb Yamashina area. It usually has a few visitors and we can enjoy brilliant red autumn leaves.

#23 Rokuoh-in temple 鹿王院

Overview
Rokuoh-in was founded by Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, the founder of Kinkakuji temple and is one of the most underrated place for autumn leaves in Kyoto.

#24 Tofukuji 東福寺

Overview
Tofukuij is one of the most popular places for autumn leaves. It is famous for this iconic view of Sengyokukan valley. The autumn leaves look like red clouds.

Last year, we couldn’t enjoy this iconic Sengyokukkan valley (not illuminated) .
But the other side was illuminated. A twilight is reocomennded,
At Shoin building, the Zen garden (Kareseunsu garden) is also illuminated. One of few Zen gardens illuminated.
