The following is the records of the last 3 years. Omuro Zakura in in bloom around mid-April usually.
April 6, 2019
The signboard says “Tsubomi fukuramu,” the state of buds in the photo. Omuro Zakura is on the verge of blooming. I’m sure the next week is the best time to enjoy it.
On the other hand, Someiyoshino is in full bloom in many places in Kyoto. I also visited Ryoanji temple today and found the best Sakura view in the garden.

Some well-sunlit flowers are in bloom.
The other ones are in about 20 ％ bloom.
Some Someiyoshino flowers still bloom. The rain will have them fall away. Yamazakura, Mitsuba Tususji, and Shakunage are in full bloom.

Omuro Zakura is in about 80 ％ bloom.
Ohsawa Zakura is nearly the same. The next week-end is the best time to see them, I suppose.
Someiyoshini is in full.
And Mitsuba Tsusuji, too.

I didn’t find any Omuro Zakura in bloom.
Someiyoshino was in full bloom.

Today, Omuro Zakura in full bloom. A mom at the ticket booth said “Today is the best day!”
Had a good view of the pagoda.
