Now Yoiyamas are ending. Lots of people visited there despite week days. Yamahoko parade will take place tomorrow and lots of people will enjoy it.
These days, BOILING HOT. BE CAREFUL!!!!
Mikoshis leave Otabisho around 17:00 but it will be still humid. Some years ago, Kuzekoma Gata Chigo headed for Yasaka shrine on a taxi instead of his steed. The same kind of action would take place in this year.

7月22日 宵々山
We can enjoy Byoubu Matsuri along Shinmachi street.
Late at night, Komagata Chochins of Minami Kannnon Yama are not lit and it is so quiet.
Tomorrow, Abare Kannon will take place there. I guess around 11:00.
Don’t miss it. SO EXCITING.
The sky seems to be the one of fall.

More crowded as usual, especially in Kaishos. It is so humid. Take care.
At Takayama, Goshuins of Takayama and Hozoji are available. Kawaii doggy bag, Omikuji, and Tenugui towel are also available.
The most Kawaii Tenugui in Gion Matsuri, I guess.
The Tenugui the order of Yamahok parade printed on is also available.
I found a Lobster amulet made of rope!!!
At Hashi Benkei Yama, Tikara Nawa amulet is available.
Benkei (right) is a Hulking guy.
In Byobu Matsuri, we can admire the work of Maruyama Ohkyo Hachiman Yama has.

7月20日
The Hikizome of Minami Kannon Yama, Kita Kannon Yama, and Takayama took place. The Shinbashira ( a pillar connected to a pine tree on the roof) was broken and Shinmatsu is lower than usual.
At Kuronushi Yama, this Kirie (paper-cutting) Goshuin is available for 1,000 JPY.
A beautiful post card is also available.
The goods of Kuronushi Yama is renowed because they are so stylish. Don’t miss them, hurry!!!
We can experience Chinowa Kuguri at Ennno Gyojya Yama.
On 7/31, we also can do Chinowa Kuguri in Ekijinjya Nagoshi Sai.
