7/22 Yoi Yoi Yama 宵々山
At 21:00, almost all of souvenirs of Takayama were sold out.
Even Naginata Hoko (the most popular Yamahoko float in Gion Matsuri) souvenirs never sold out at Yoi Yoi Yama. We cannot foresee that.
Not crowded though we are in weekend and Yoi Yoi Yama.
But Takayama neighborhood is crowded.
The Kaisho of En no Gyoja yama was renovated but the sacred rock, the storehouse, and the well are conserved completely.
At the entrance, there is a Chinowa. Chinowa is a kind of amulet that saves us from epidemics.

In 2022, we excercise Chinowa Kuguri at Nagohi no Harae, En no Gyoja Yama and Ekijinja Nagoshisai.
At Takayama, we can have special Gosyuin every year. (1,000 JPY)
Besides, the Reiwa 4 comeback special Gosyuin is available. (300 JPY)
Kuronushi Yama renovated its Gosyuin this year.
7月21日 宵々々山
In Muromach Dori street around 19:00. Not so crowded. Typical Atomatsuri. It took couples of minutes to enter the Kaisyo of Koiyama.
Shinmachi Dori is the main street of Atomatsuri because Hachiman Yama, Kita Kannon Yama, Minami Kannon Yama, and Ofune Hoko are located there.
